Glenwood Springs Safeway Renovation, Glenwood Springs CO

The existing Safeway building in Glenwood Sparings had been sitting vacant for the last 8 years and was a blight on the main street in town. We worked on the project with an out of state developer who brought in Harbor Freight Tools and ARC Donation Center as tenants to split the building and bring new retail services to the area. Our team worked with the City and the General Contractor to permit the project for the Owner. The exterior scope of work was to create a new entry for Harbor Freight tools with an exterior loading enclosure. The existing building was repainted, exterior lighting updated, a new roof overlay, new aluminum storefront, significant parking lot improvements, and storm water detention updates. The interior was fully updated with new HVAC, lighting, electrical service, gas service, finishes, and tenant spaces.
