The former 5,000 SF Whole Foods liquor store had been sitting vacant for a year and a half and prospective tenants were not interested in the space because it was too large and impractical. The solution was to demise the space into (2) new smaller tenant suites with single user ADA compliant restrooms. The existing electrical and gas service was required to be upgraded for the new tenants with separate metering. The mechanical rooftop units were upgraded. A new storefront entry door was cut into the existing storefront system for one tenant while maintaining the existing automatic sliding doors for the other vacant space. Upon completion of the white box work Sweathouz signed a lease for one of the newly demised tenant spaces.
