Easterseals had previously built an overnight respite care center for disabled children at their Lakewood location that never worked. The City required them to keep doors unlocked and lights on at night which made it impossible to operate. Their solution was to convert the existing respite care center into a center for ABA therapy for children with autism. The new facility included a play gym, ABA therapy rooms, office spaces, a new lobby/reception area, conference room, and support spaces. Our team also assisted Easterseals with obtaining grants to fund their project and we designed the project to be built within the stipulated budget of the grants.
